I found that under Thing # 6 the author gives credit where credit is due for using a picture from Flickr.com. I think it is really important to give credit to the author and students of all ages should be taught this lesson early on in their education. Copying and pasting pictures onto a paper or something without giving credit to the author is like stealing someones personal property. As a future teacher I will teach a lesson on how copyright and creative commons are different. I will teach it in a way that is down to earth on their level so that they can understand the uses that can be used by giving credit to the author. A student who creates something of their own, wouldn't want everyone to use it or steal it, without giving credit to the owner. I think this is important for everyone.
